The plan of the lesson on creating a cartoon with your own hands "The camera is the motor!"

Author: Namanzhueva Julia Konstantinovna, psychologist - teacher of the "Rehabilitation center for children with disabilities" Tauksi ", Nizhnevartovsk
Description:
   Creating a cartoon is a fascinating creative process that will appeal to both children and adults. Children act as creators here, manifest themselves in creative activity, while learning and educating themselves. This material will be useful to all interested persons who work with children and wish to bring something new and interesting to their activities.
goal: socially-communicative development of children by means of active animation;
Tasks:
  - create a trustful creative atmosphere of cooperation,
  - activation of the motivational sphere;
  - Development of cognitive activity: concentration and stability of attention, imagination, creativity of thinking, speech; fine motor skills;
  - development of cohesion, cooperation, empathy;
   In the rehabilitation work of children with disabilities, comprehensive rehabilitation is used, which includes both traditional and non-traditional methods. One of the non-traditional methods is multtotherapy. This is an innovative method of rehabilitation and creative socialization of children in difficult life situations, with limited opportunities, through the collective creation of cartoons. An important task, besides the development of the cognitive, motivational spheres, is the development of the social and communicative sphere.
Animation can show the surrounding life, people, their actions and destinies in an attractive form and accessible words for understanding, in the shortest possible time to show what this or that act of the hero leads to, characters teach the child to interact with the outside world, help to cope with difficulties.
   It should be noted that in our animation school children can take a passive and active role. Passive role - viewing cartoons, short films and discussing them. Choose therapeutic cartoons that teach good, friendship, carry moral values, such as:
   "How it will turn up" - about a boor, an aggressive person
  "Giant egoist" - about the giant who did not like to communicate with people
   "Ba-bush-ka" - as a shy boy got courage
  "And what can you do?" - Nobody wanted to make friends with a little Pumpkin. All the animals, getting acquainted with him, asked: "What do you know how"? But the Pumpkin could only grow. But this ability was a great help to little animals, when together with Pumpkin they found themselves in a cage with a wolf.
  "The house that built everything" - The story of the children playing on one playground each in itself. But one day the heroes of the cartoon "The House That Built Everything" were forced to unite against a teenage bully and, as a result, erected a beautiful house of sand.
   Active role - children themselves are involved in creating a cartoon. The process of creating a cartoon is both creative self-expression and independence (for children there is freedom of choice of the hero, the plot, the production of scenery and characters, the role of the adult is directing). Pictorial activity and artistic work are favorable for the development of the basic components of creative abilities.
   Such joint activities allow many tasks:
   Socialization of the child; upbringing of perseverance, purposefulness;
   Development of verbal and non-verbal communication;
   Development of visual-figurative and logical thinking;
   Development of memory, perception, stability of attention;
   Development of imagination;
   Development of creative abilities;
   Development of monological and dialogical speech;
   Development of communication skills;
   Teaching skills of animation.
   Formation of positive qualities of personality;
   Teaching children to acceptable ways of expressing emotions, self-regulation;
   Development of skills of conflict-free communication

Stages of creating a cartoon:

I Introduction
The main thing at this stage is the establishment of a confidential contact, the creation of a safe and benevolent atmosphere for each other's acceptance, and the available information about the upcoming activity.
  1) View and discuss the famous children's cartoons, with the purpose of forming an adequate representation of children about cartoons, about upcoming activities. When discussing viewed cartoons, reflection develops (a person studies himself, rethinking his own values and foundations). The adult in the process of the training is always worth watching the cartoon with the children, commenting on what is happening, answering questions and, in turn, asking questions to the child. We encourage children to express their thoughts and opinions. We discuss the behavior of the characters and explain the incomprehensible moments. Therefore, in the process of watching cartoons it is important to pause "stops" for working out important semantic subjects.
  2) Formation of children's ideas about the process of creating a cartoon, stimulating to further activity.
  - Children's acquaintance with various animation techniques (plasticine animation, shifting, volumetric animation, sand, drawing); with materials from which you can make a cartoon (clay, paper, dough, sand, etc.); Watch cartoons created by other children;
  - Familiarity with the important stages of the creation of the cartoon: the plot, characters, scenery, scoring; discussion of these components on the example of the cartoon "The Plasticine Crow"
II "The first test of the pen"
1) "Emotions and feelings of characters"
  - a conversation on the topic of emotional manifestations of people in various situations;
  - differentiation of emotions; the study of one's own emotions (in front of the mirror);
  -production of characters with changeable emotions;

2) "Behavior, non-verbal communication"
  - a conversation with children about the features of gestures and movements of people in different situations;
  - the production of characters capable of movement;
  - Children's acquaintance with the characteristics of the character (character, facial expressions, gestures, movements);

III Search phase
1) Inventing a story (story), thinking through character images;
We pay special attention to the topic selection. Children take an active position in inventing the story. Initiative is encouraged. The adult renders organizing, stimulating, directing help. The unusualness, originality of the plot, elaboration and detailing of the images are assessed. Adults processed the invented story. Write or draw a sequence of scenes, decide on the time, how much time you need for each action.
2) Discussion of background, scenery, elements, details;
  -Examining the methods of making decorations. Requirements for scenery: colorful, durable, easy to manufacture, quick assembly and disassembly.
  -production of scenery on the invented plot;

  3) The joint modeling of characters from plasticine. Here attention should be paid to the quality of implementation. If it is decided to create three-dimensional figures, then they must necessarily be stable.

IV The camera is the motor! Shooting a cartoon
  -Shooting a cartoon by a pre-written plot
  The shooting is performed by a camera under the direction of an adult

  Each action and movement of the character on the background sheet are fixed on a separate frame. Change the position of objects in space and move the characters in accordance with the plot and plot. Here it is necessary to share responsibilities, who moves, who takes photographs. Follow the order that all children are included and involved in the creation process.

   The installation of the cartoon is carried out by me, in a special computer program for the creation of video clips ("Cute Cut", "Movie Maker"),
   The scoring of the cartoon is performed by children, according to the plot. It is important to give children the opportunity to come up with replicas and voice intonation. We make audio recording of audio tracks (tracks) on computer equipment through a microphone or using an IC recorder. The adult advises and directs.
V Preview and presentation of the finished cartoon
  You can attract parents and teachers to view; discussion of the obtained results of the work.
   In the process of creating a cartoon with their own hands, children, in addition to developing cognitive qualities, form a sense of belonging to the group, of their own importance, of a benevolent attitude toward their peers, and develop skills for effective interaction, cooperation and cohesion.
Creating a cartoon requires labor and patience. It is important to keep children interested. The result (viewing the finished cartoon) is very important, as it forms motivation for further activity by approving it, stimulates it for further work, develops a positive attitude towards oneself, increases self-esteem and self-confidence of children. This is especially important and significant for our children.

This is the first cartoon film filmed by my 4-year-old son with his father. I already told you about admission of the child to such art as photography  , and talked about photo games, in which my husband plays with his son. So, they are together shoot cartoons camera. Together they come up with a "toy story", they collect props and take pictures of toys on a time-by-frame basis. And who knows, to what serious hobby can such a frivolous creative play lead? After all, in it the kid tries himself as a screenwriter, director and operator at the same time.

Home "Hollywood"

Shoot cartoons  - it's a fascinating game. And the most interesting thing about it is that it will be possible to view this game again after all the toys have been removed into the box, and to relive all the adventures.

What do you need to make a cartoon?

- Looking for a story. What will we shoot about? Surely in your assortment of toys there is a doll house with residents, a railway, a fire station, a knight's castle or a puppet theater. First, choose a story with a small number of characters.

- We are considering the scenario.What will the heroes do in our cartoon? Think about the beginning, the climax and the conclusion. Or maybe this one will be just one scene for a big cartoon film, which is planned to be shot.

- We collect props and decorate the scenery.  This is a very interesting part. It is necessary to arrange beautifully all the toys, put each hero in his place, think over the background, take care of the lighting. An indispensable element of such photography is a tripod, which must be carefully set at the right level. That's where Dad will help. After all, all the frames of the cartoon must be absolutely identical, the picture should not "jump", only the hero will move.

- We take photos.  Let the kid move the characters according to the scenario. Take care that he does this as carefully as possible, so as not to dislodge the rest of the scenery. After each move, take one shot. If the tripod is fixed, then the kid can shoot independently, and you will perform the work of "actors".

- We mount the cartoon.  Transfer photos to a computer. They can be viewed in cartoon mode right away, quickly scrolling the mouse wheel. And you can mount a real cartoon and impose an audio track. This is easily done in the Picasa photo processing program.

Kid and Dad enjoyed playing together and that's what cartoon about the arrival of the train to the station  they turned out!

Parenting  can be very exciting, is not it?

Preparing scenery

We make heroes

We put the lamp

Take it to the camera

We work on the computer

All children and some adults are very fond of watching cartoons. Have you ever wondered who and how to make them? These are wizards, who are called animators. They can revive the painted hedgehog or plasticine cow, which immediately zamychit. Would not you like to learn this magic and create your own cartoon? Today nine-year-old Lev Kharchenko from the city of Belgorod will show us how to make a cartoon by himself based on Alexander Volkov's fairy tale "The Secret of an Abandoned Castle". And you can choose any other fairy tale you like.

You will need

  • two or three packs of plasticine
  • camera
  • tripod
  • shoebox
  • adhesive pencil
  • a4 sheet
  • a3 format sheet
  • a computer or a laptop with a video editing program Pinnacle Studio 14 (you can use the program Movie Maker, which is installed on most computers already with Windows)
  • bright colors
  • brushes
  • simple pencil
  • amp (for good lighting)
  • scotch
  • wire (or toothpicks)

Preparing scenery

On the bottom of the box, from under the shoes, glue an A4 sheet and paint it with green-yellow flowers.

Take the next sheet of A3 format, draw on it simple pencil trees, mountains and castle and paint them.

Paste the background to the base (behind the box) with adhesive tape or glue. If the sheet does not hold smoothly, you can substitute something behind as a support.

Attach the box with plasticine to the table so that it is stationary.

We make heroes

Blinds of plasticine head with small details.

Then, like a small oval, blind the body and slightly "flatten" it. Add buttons or other items of clothing.

Make hands, feet and palms of pink plasticine, and shoes are brown.

All the previous details "put on" one by one on the wire frame (or toothpicks).

Shooting and processing

Set the lamp so that the light falls on the scenery prepared by you.

Attach the camera to the tripod and place it opposite the table with the prepared background.

Secure the tripod with plasticine to the floor and press the button. The first frame is ready!

Move the figure about half a centimeter, change its position a little and take a picture. The less you move the figure,
the more natural will be her movements in an animated cartoon.

When you take all the frames, copy the photos to the computer.

Open the program Pinnacle Studio 14 (you can use the program Movie Maker, originally installed on most computers) and on the video track consistently put the photos you uploaded.

Set the desired speed. In the program Pinnacle Studio 14 for this it is enough to stretch or compress the frame. It is best if the part
frames will change quickly, and some will remain on the screen a little longer. Then the characters look like alive.

On the audio track, put music or words. At the beginning of the story, quiet music (for example, "The Morning" of Grieg) will work. If someone is running in the animation, you can use fast music (Vivaldi's "Storm"). If the story is alarm, "Morsorgsky's Night on a Bald Mountain" is suitable. Happy end - and cheerful music ("March" Petrova).

Hooray! Your cartoon is ready! You can safely proudly show it to your friends and family!

They make cartoons in many ways, the most popular is creating an illusion of movement using a series of hand-drawn images. You can try this with a child - draw a series of drawings in a thick notebook or notebook with some changes from the last page to the first. Now if you quickly start scrolling through the pages - you get a small hand-drawn cartoon.

But the real animation is a very laborious process. At first is written  scenario the film  , then the set is drawn pictures  , they are photographed and mounted in one piece with a display speed of 24 frames per second, the sound is additionally superimposed and synchronized. Production of one cartoon can take from several months to several years.

No less popular is the puppet animation. The principle of work is the same - photographing and assembling frames, but heroes - dolls  , on each next frame - minimum position changes, and when assembling an illusion of motion is obtained.

Increasingly gaining momentum computer animation. After the main characters are drawn in the program and their basic poses are indicated, a computer  he himself calculates interim movements, creating a cartoon.

Computer animation and animation are the most promising types of animation in the development, which give maximum opportunities for the realization of creative ideas.

How to make cartoons yourself?

Some parents make cartoons at home with children  . One way has already been mentioned above - painting  a series of pictures in a notebook or notebook. As a more modern option - drawing pictures in the computer and assembling the finished video  with the help of special programs.

At home with the child you can shoot and puppet animation - the main characters can be plasticine creations, household items, food in the kitchen and everything that will only be interesting to kid  . For example, you can recreate the kolobok in the kitchen and capture it in the film.

To produce such a film you need a digital camera and a lot of patience, the more frames will be filmed with minimal changes to them, the smoother and more beautiful the video will be.

Directly for assembling a video, you can use one of their popular programs, for example, Video Spin, PhotoShow or VideoMach. There are many programs for this purpose.

For more adults children  3-D graphics programs are available to draw cartoons already directly in the program, without material embodiment.

Advise your friends, please!

Children love to watch cartoons. And if you invite them to withdraw their own cartoon, they generally will be delighted! In this article I will tell you how to make a simple cartoon. I will not talk about any specialized animation programs. It's about the classic way - we'll take a lot of individual frames and "glue" them into a video. It's not at all difficult, quite fun and entertaining. There is in this and a learning element - the child will understand "where do cartoons come from," plus a little practice of perseverance :)

So, to create the simple cartoon  we will need:

  • camera
  • a program for creating video from a photo
  • scene and hero
  • fantasy

You can certainly go to the process seriously and add a tripod for the camera and good lighting to the list, but we are shooting an amateur cartoon, are not we?

Let's look at a concrete example. We use the camera Sony NEX 5N, a free program for gluing video. As a stage - just a sofa, as a hero - a strange design, collected by the son of the designer Lego.

The idea is simple - you need to fix the camera so that it does not move and was aimed at the "scene". In this example, I just put the camera on the couch. On stage, move the hero and shoot the frame, move and move a little more, and so on, until patience and fantasy are enough :) For this kind of shooting I turn off the automatic focus on the camera and focus manually so that the scene is clearly visible and the focus does not change in different frames .

The more frames you take, the more interesting and smooth the cartoon will be. Experiment!

We paste individual cartoon frames into one video file

At this stage, there are often difficulties, so I will write down the process in more detail. When everything is ready, copy all the frames shot for the cartoon into a separate folder. Run Bolide Slideshow Creator. Generally it is a program for creating a slideshow, but it has the ability to expose a very small delay between frames, it's free, plus there are some more conveniences for our purposes, which I'll write about next. Now step by step:

A little wait and our cartoon is ready! At us it has turned out this time here such:

This was an example with 10 frames per second, when the frame display time is 0.1 second. For this cartoon we have fixed 71 frames. But for example, the same project, but with a time frame display of 0.05 seconds:

Another couple of self-made cartoons

Creating homemade cartoons - great fun! Here are a couple of pictures taken with his son cartoons. For this, we shook 85 frames, though a bit missed the focus:

And here's another strange LEGO-design, a flying rocket and a crazy horse :)
