Snack “Amanita” is tasty and beautiful

Before any celebration, housewives think about what new dish to surprise their guests with. After all, you really want the holiday menu to be tasty and originally designed. Also now the priority is dishes that do not require expensive ingredients. The “Fly Agaric” appetizer meets all these criteria and always looks appetizing and bright on the holiday table.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g hard cheese;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 1 clove of garlic;
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise;
  • 2 fresh cucumbers;
  • 12 pieces cherry tomatoes;
  • 5 pieces of lettuce;
  • salt and pepper.

Cooking method:

  1. All vegetables must be washed and dried well in advance. The eggs are hard-boiled and placed in cold water to cool. From these components you get 12 fly agaric mushrooms. The snack will be nourishing, tasty, and the cost of ingredients will be minimal.
  2. First you need to grate 150 g of hard cheese. For this it is better to use a fine grater. The finished cheese is set aside in a separate plate. Then you need to grate the eggs using coarse grater. To mix the ingredients you need to take a large plate.
  3. It contains cheese, eggs and mayonnaise. You also need to squeeze out 1 clove of garlic here. While stirring gently, add salt and ground black pepper to the mixture to taste. This plate needs to be placed in the refrigerator for a few minutes so that the legs of the tomato “Fly Agaric” appetizer do not fall apart during their formation. At this time, 2 cucumbers need to be cut into small rings.
  4. Cherry tomatoes (12 pieces) cut in half. For cooking, it is better to use elastic, almost ripe vegetables. Thus, the “mushrooms” will keep their shape well. Formation of the dish Before you start preparing the “Fly Agaric” snack for festive table, you need to prepare a small plate with clean water and a teaspoon.
  5. Place a cucumber ring on a cutting board. Then dip a teaspoon into a plate of water. This is done so that the mixture does not stick or crumble during the formation of the “mushroom” stem. Use a teaspoon to scoop up the cheese mass and transfer it to your hand. You can also wet them a little in advance. Then the leg of the fly agaric is formed.
  6. It is installed on a cucumber ring. In this way it is necessary to create molds from the entire cheese mass. After completing this process, you need to place the cherry tomato halves on all the stems, pressing lightly so that they are held well. A cornet is formed from parchment and mayonnaise is squeezed onto the tomatoes in small dots.
  7. As a result, patterns characteristic of real fly agarics are formed on the caps. Now you can start the presentation. Lettuce leaves are laid out on a large flat dish to imitate green juicy grass. All the formed fly agarics are carefully placed on it.

Amanita from eggs with cod liver

Cod liver can be replaced with any traditional filling for stuffed eggs (Jewish salad of processed cheese, finely chopped salad of crab sticks or canned fish salad, herring caviar, thick squash caviar, liver or sprat pate, pea puree, mixed with yolk and mayonnaise ). If the filling remains, it doesn’t matter, you can spread it on bread and you’ll get an excellent sandwich.

Ingredients:

  • Hard-boiled eggs – 10 pieces;
  • Canned cod liver – about 200 g;
  • Mayonnaise – 2 teaspoons;
  • Greens (dill, parsley) – 5-6 sprigs;
  • Black tea in bags – 2 bags.

Cooking method:

  1. Wash the eggs and place in cold water. Add salt (to prevent cracking). After the water boils, cook for 10 minutes. Cool the boiled eggs in cold water and peel.
  2. Divide the egg into a stem and a cap. Place each egg and cut crosswise into 2 unequal parts - larger and smaller. The larger part (about 2/3 of the length of the egg) will become the stuffed mushroom stem, and the smaller part (1/3 of the length of the egg) will be the cap of the boletus mushroom. Remove the yolks - they go into the filling.
  3. Color the mushroom caps. Place tea bags in boiling water. Boil for 5 minutes, remove the bags from the pan, turn off. Place small pieces of eggs (caps) into this tea and boil for coloring for 5 minutes (if longer, the caps will become almost black, this is not so interesting). If all the caps are not included in the pan, you can paint them in batches, one at a time. Remove the finished caps from the tea and dry on a paper towel.
  4. Stuff the mushroom eggs Prepare the filling: place the cod liver in a bowl and mash with a fork along with the yolks. Add mayonnaise, mix well. Stuff both parts of the eggs (the white leg and the brown cap) with filling and combine.
  5. Place the greens on a flat plate and place the prepared mushrooms on it (if the mushroom is unstable, the bottom of the egg can be cut off a little to make it even). Ingredients of the snack Preparing the filling Close-up of the future filling On the left are the caps, on the right are the legs Filling with yolks, cod liver and mayonnaise.
  6. You can also add finely chopped onion or garlic. Porcini mushrooms with brown caps and filling. Boletus mushrooms made from eggs are both beautiful and tasty. If you doubt whether the white of an egg is edible after coloring it with tea, everything is fine, you won’t even feel any aftertaste, there will be the usual taste of the egg.

  • ground black pepper to taste

  3. Boil the eggs for 8-10 minutes. Cool in cold water. Then we remove the shell. Carefully cut off the top until the yolk appears. Carefully remove the yolk, being careful not to damage the walls of the white.
  4. The tops of the squirrels can be used as caps if they are not replaced by champignon caps. In this case, the tops of the eggs should be placed in tea leaves for a while: the longer the caps lie, the richer the color of the caps for future mushrooms.
  5. Fry the mushrooms in a frying pan. There is a nuance here: if you use champignons, then chop only the stems; in this case, the whole caps can also be fried, they will serve as the caps of future mushrooms. Remove the fried mushrooms from the pan and cool.
  6. Add a little yolk to the mushrooms, add cheese grated on a medium grater, finely chopped ham, and herbs to taste. Salt, pepper, mix.
  7. Add mayonnaise or sour cream - the filling is ready.
  8. Place it in egg barrels. Cover with tops made from champignon caps or eggs.

Greetings, dear visitors of my page! Today we will prepare a wonderful, very beautiful, tasty and edible, with an inedible name, “Fly Agaric” snack. It will decorate any holiday table, especially New Year's.

Of course, it’s unlikely to do without Olivier, vinaigrette or “Lady” salad, but these mushrooms will not leave anyone indifferent. They are very simple to prepare; you don’t need to bake anything, except that you will need to boil a hard-boiled egg. All that remains is to fold it like a construction set or build a sculpture from the ingredients.

By the way, I would like to add that my wife Oksana and I decided to supplement our video recipes, which are present under each article, with step-by-step photographs.

Also, previous articles will be supplemented with photographs over time. We hope that our readers will like this solution. We would be very grateful if you express your opinion in the comments below.

Now, let's get back to our hearty and delicious mushrooms.

  • 2 – 3 eggs
  • 70 gr. cheese
  • 70gr. any ham or sausage
  • 1 large cucumber
  • 10 – 15 pcs. Cherry tomatoes
  • 3 – 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • fresh lettuce leaves for decoration
  • 1 – 2 cloves of garlic optional.
  • First, you need to boil an egg, three hard-boiled eggs.

In a large, deep bowl, grate ham or boiled sausage on a fine grater - to your taste.

In the same bowl we rub the egg - all three pieces.

And cheese, all on a fine grater, and in one bowl.

Add mayonnaise - 3 tablespoons.

For garlic lovers, add a couple of cloves of garlic through a garlic press. We don’t show it because we don’t add it, otherwise our kids won’t eat it.

Mix everything well and set aside for now.

Cut the tomatoes in half, these halves will become fly agaric caps.

Cut the cucumber into slices, approximately 0.5 cm thick.

Or use a knife from a set of carving knives, which is usually used to cut French fries, then it turns out more elegant, but if you don’t have such a knife, it will still turn out amazingly beautiful.

Place greens or lettuce leaves beautifully on the bottom of a large dish. We have Frillis salad in this recipe, but this is not critical - you can use any other salad, or simple Chinese cabbage.

We lay cucumber circles on top; they will serve as the base on which our fly agarics will stand.

On top of the cucumbers, you need to make a stump - the leg of a fly agaric. This can be done either with a teaspoon, placing the filling so that you get a stump. Or any suitable tube from food utensils. We use a spout from a pastry bag, with which... They use cream to draw patterns on cakes.

It should look like this.

Top each stump with half a cherry tomato.

We add dots using any suitable tool - a match or a toothpick, after which, with clear conscience, these mushrooms will turn into edible, harmless and healthy fly agarics. And you can safely serve it to the festive table.

It is advisable to make such an appetizer before serving, otherwise the tomatoes and cucumber may yield juice. And greens are tastier when eaten when they are crisp and crisp.

This is such a simple recipe that can be prepared from relatively inexpensive ingredients for any holiday. We will most likely cook it on New Year. I would like to note right away that it is better to cook more mushrooms, because they are eaten very quickly, as a snack. Just fireworks of taste!

I will be grateful to you, friends, if you add your comments and improvements to the recipe in the comments. Healthy criticism is also welcome! And if you really liked everything, press the buttons and share with your friends. Until the next recipes!
