Recently I come across an incredible variety of all sorts of ratings with the most beautiful yarns in the world, with beaches with the most unusual sand. And not a single mention of our native beaches there. More than once I have already said and noted that we are not able to position our natural sights. Having traveled through Russia, I declare that there are so many incredible places. But most do not even have a title and a mention in accessible sources (except for the mouths of local residents), not to mention the possibility of simply stopping and photographing them. Why not at least make unified pointers throughout the country, as it is done in all countries of the world (not only civilized).

We correct this injustice.
In the rating of the world's beaches with the most unusual sand is simply obliged to enter Glass beach in Vladivostok :

He is just like the famous Californian (present in the ratings), strewn with glasses of different colors. All the glasses have been carefully treated with sea water for years, so they are not sharp at all.
Where in this little bay are there so many glasses? There are two versions:
1. Here once the ship with the dishes was turned over
2. The beach was used as a dump of glass debris. In California, by the way, exactly the same story. Only Californian was in 2002, bought by one person and today is called the miracle of nature. And Vladivostok is not bought by anyone and remains wild.

The bay Glass or Glass-glass is very small. It is located just 20 km from the city of Vladivostok on the way to the more famous Shamoru. The beach is half-savage. There is a slag bar, a fenced area for volleyball, a barbecue and a barrack and a toilet. But nobody is redeemed by anyone and is available to all comers.

Recently I was surprised to learn that there is a similar beach in Primorsky Krai, on the shore of Ussuriisky Bay, near Vladivostok. This place is called "The Bay of Glass." In the old days there was a nearby city dump nearby. Currently, the dump is closed, and the glass beach is popular with tourists who are now on the contrary trying to grab and carry away a colored "pebble" for their memory. In this unusual way, the garbage began to return to its owners.

Dumps are a problem of the modern world. They look like disgusting evidence of how the development of human civilization kills the environment. One such lamentable example could be one of the beaches in the Ussuriysk Bay, which people turned into a real dump of glass bottles. But nature has clearly demonstrated that it is much stronger than man.

On sunny days, one of the beaches in the Ussuriisk Bay, located near the Russian eastern seaport of Vladivostok, flares up with thousands of lights. It seems that it is completely covered with lighted candles. But the solution of this phenomenon is much more prosaic. This beach is not so long ago was a glass container dump.

Here it was simply impossible to make a step because of the risk of cutting yourself about splinters of broken bottles from wine, beer, vodka and other spirits. But the stormy waves over the years so polished the broken glass, which turned it into a real multicolored "glass pebbles." Welcome to the Glass Beach!

It took decades for the waves to break up about polished the bottle glass, turning the fragments into multicolored smooth "stones". Glass beach or   Glass Bay is located in the Primorsky Krai of Russia, in the Ussuriiskii Gulf. At first glance, it may seem that the water in the bay is fairly clean, but according to the results of a special check, it turned out that it is not recommended to swim in this water. Therefore, the beach at the Glass Bay is used exclusively for recreation.

Such a coast, as in this bay, is nowhere else in Russia. Instead of sand under your feet, a small pebble is mixed, mixed with a variety of glass stones. The history of the appearance of this phenomenon is somewhat sad. A long time ago there was a dump in this place, to which a broken glass was brought in huge quantities. After a while, the sea water cut the shards of broken glass and turned them into so-called " sticks».

The former disorder has long been gone, and coast   open to everyone, but the water is still not suitable for bathing. Visiting the beach costs a symbolic 100 rubles, the cost of the ticket includes the use of a deckchair, a shower, a toilet and a locker room. In addition, for a separate symbolic fee you can set your own tent or rent a comfortable gazebo. Himself beach   although a small size, but quite spacious and incredibly clean.

In the territory glass beach   there is a cafe, a slide for children and a volleyball court, and also lifeguards are constantly on duty and the medical center works. Sea waves constantly carry ashore and smooth glass pebbles of various sizes and colors. It is noteworthy that glass "nails" almost completely replaced ordinary stones, and will have to work hard to find at least one.

Getting to the glass bay is quite simple from the city of Vladivostok   on a pleasure boat or on a tourist bus. Such a trip does not take you a lot of time and money, but will leave an unforgettable impression and will give an opportunity to admire the amazing Glass Beach.

The infrastructure of the recreation area is quite developed. There is a parking lot, which provides 24-hour security. For the convenience of tourists and holidaymakers on the territory are a shop, several cafes where you can taste delicious and inexpensive variety of dishes from Russian or Uzbek cuisine, for lovers of kebabs equipped with a gazebo, barbecue and brazier.

Those who prefer a quiet family vacation will also be satisfied, there are almost no crowded places here, and children will like to collect colorful stones on the beach or take pictures with animals from their own nursery.

Moreover, the cost of recreation here is minimal, renting a house for a day will cost you 900 rubles, the place for installing a tent costs 200 rubles / day, you can book an arbor and rent a brazier in advance.
