flower kadupul

Rarity and beauty are the main characteristics that make the kadupul flower so special. This rare flower is mainly found in the forests of Sri Lanka. Only a few people had the opportunity to admire the beauty of the kadupula, because they bloom only in the middle of the night and die before dawn. And kadupul can bloom only under very specific circumstances. It is a flower with a very pleasant fragrance, and also, due to its short lifespan, it is a very, very expensive flower. Until today, none of the botanists could explain why these flowers die so quickly.

Smolevka Gibraltar

This species of tarsus (silene tomentosa) can only be found in the British territory called Gibraltar. Smolevka is an evening flower with a weak fragrance and a short lifespan. It is interesting that in 1992, the botanists of Gibraltar officially announced that there was not a single tarragon left on the island, and the species had completely died out. But two years later, in 1994, on the rocks of Gibraltar, climbers found these flowers and proved that Smolevki still exist in harsh conditions. Today, these flowers can only be found in the botanical gardens of Gibraltar and London, and even then in very small quantities.

ghost orchid

The ghost orchid, a rare, web-like flower, grows in Cuba and Florida. It can only be found in a few areas where natural conditions are suitable for its growth. This is the reason for its rarity. Surprisingly, the plant has no leaves. The plant is attached by its roots to other plants, the roots and stems are colored green, so it is very difficult to notice where the flower itself grows from, its white head seems to be hanging in the air. Without leaves, the ghost orchid cannot feed itself and must attach itself to other plants and trees to get enough energy. These amazing plants bloom for three weeks from April to August. These orchids need high temperature and high humidity to grow, so they don't grow anywhere else except in Cuba and Florida.

Chocolate kosmeya

The chocolate cosmea is one of the most beautiful and rare flowers growing in Mexico. The plant is so named because of the chocolate aroma of its flowers. Usually the chocolate cosmea flower is a rich red or brown color. The plant blooms in the evening at the end of summer. Unfortunately, today we can only see the descendants of one plant, the seeds of which were collected in 1902 to prevent the complete extinction of this species. The existing plantations of chocolate cosmos are protected by law.

parrot beak

The parrot's beak is the most beautiful flower in the Canary Islands. Its curved, parrot-like petals are what make this plant so beautiful, which is how the flower got its name. The parrot's beak blooms in spring in sunny weather. But there is a chance that after a while these flowers will completely disappear. Now there are only a few plants of this species, since since 1884, when the last nectary disappeared - only these birds could pollinate the beak of a parrot, the disappearance of the flowers themselves began. Existing plants were obtained by artificial pollination, since no bird species has yet been found that could replace sunbirds. The beak of a parrot in the Canary Islands is protected by law.
