Computer for work. Buy a computer for office work

Today, a computer is an integral tool, without which it will be very difficult for a person to quickly and efficiently cope with their work. First of all, a PC is designed to carry out calculations (including scientific ones) with minimal time losses, then apply technology to store large amounts of information, use it as a database. But today not only use the computer for work purposes. Very often he is tormented in information, multimedia and entertainment processes. However, we will not list all the possibilities of computer technology, but consider the issue of assembling a PC for simple office tasks.

I think many people know what components a computer consists of. This is a case with a power supply, and. In our case, if the assembly is for the office, then we will not need expensive parts. I recommend starting the selection of components with the processor. The processor processes information flows. Today, in an office computer, the best solution would be 2-core CPU. I advise you to look at the chips Intel. They are much more productive than AMD. At the same time, they are all equipped with integrated video (AMD A series also has a graphics core).

If we take two processors identical in terms of the number of cores and frequency, from different manufacturers, then Intel will win the test, since the company has spent a lot of effort on developing and improving its chips, which are even implemented in the Apple MacBook. Intel has 2 lines of budget CPUs - Celeron and Pentium. Both are 2-core, only the Pentium has a higher clock speed and cache memory. I recommend looking at the 4th generation for socket 1150. If you plan to assemble more than one PC, but several, then I advise you to take Celeron, it is cheaper. In the case when you have plans for an office computer for yourself, for which you will constantly work, you can fork out a little for a Pentium.

Judging by the reviews, with a good video card, these CPUs do a good job even with new games. But this is a completely different topic, because for powerful entertainment better than intel Core i5 / i7, and the price of such chips is several times more expensive. Regarding AMD, it’s hard for me to advise something here, because the price is almost the same, and noticeable difference in performance.

The only normal option is AMD A6 with socket FM2. Next, you need to choose a motherboard. Here, first of all, be guided by the socket of the selected processor. It must match, otherwise the system will not work. As for the manufacturer, take a closer look at Asus or Gigabyte, or at least MSI. Also, from the main one, take a look at the number of USB connectors you need, the frequency of supported memory, and, of course, DVI / VGA output (for integrated video).

As for integrated graphics, everything is very simple. Integrated video replaces the graphics card and saves you money. Today, such graphics even allow you to play games up to 2010, and the video memory takes from RAM, just as much as you allocate yourself. To save money without buying a video card, you need a CPU with an integrated graphics core and an appropriate output (DVI / VGA) on the motherboard. As a last resort, any video card with GDDR3 memory will do.

Now it's time to pick up the RAM. First, focus on the maximum frequency that the motherboard and processor can support at the same time. Then start thinking about volume. Optimal for an office PC will be 4 GB. Only I do not recommend buying such a container at once with one bar. It is better to take 2 modules of 2 GB. In such a situation, 2-channel mode is activated, which will significantly increase performance. Popular RAM manufacturers - Kingston, Corsair, goodram, Silicon power, Transcend.

In principle, this is a brief basic information. However, the choice of components is not over yet. Plus you'll need HDD. In short, without unnecessary information, I will write right away. It is more profitable in terms of price-memory ratio to buy 1 TB. Good firms - Seagate and western digital. Spindle speed - 7200 rpm. Let's get back to the VIPs for a moment. If the assembly is for your own money personally for yourself, or for your boss, then in addition to the HDD drive, purchase an SSD drive from 60 GB. And then you really feel the huge difference in computer performance. And if you start working on such a PC yourself, then you generally want to give up hard drive.

But today, the hard drive is still a profitable piece of iron for the purpose of storing voluminous information. The fault here is the high cost of SSDs. Therefore, solid-state drives are placed only under the system. The final purchase is the power supply, case and other necessary components. If you pay attention, most cases already come with a power supply. But the PSU data is of poor quality and does not correspond to the declared power. In addition, they have a limited number of wires. For example, 2 wires for powering SATA devices, when high-quality units have 4 of them. We also saved on the length, because they often complain about short wires.

Therefore, for an office PC it would be good to take honest 400W from the well-known brands Chieftec, Cooler Master, Corsair. And do not forget that a low-quality PSU can burn out with a large overload and, in the worst case, take other pieces of iron with it to the next world. You can choose the case to your taste, the main thing is that all components by form factor fit into it. And the last interesting fact is other spare parts.

These include a DVD drive (if you need it, take a closer look at Asus), various WiFi adapters (PCI is better for an office, since unscrupulous clients can steal a USB adapter), USB hubs and extension cords, card readers, etc. In this regard, everyone has an individual approach. But there is only one conclusion. Do not save money on yourself and your employees. Create good conditions to work with high quality equipment. Otherwise, your greed will sooner or later bring you losses.

When visiting the offices of many organizations, we still encounter situations where employees are forced to work with old monitors that adversely affect vision due to their flicker. Take care of the health of your employees, you will definitely get it back in the form of an increased amount of work done by them!

If an office worker is not distracted by discomfort, exercises for the eyes, etc., he will be able to work more productively. We offer you completely update workplace employee. Therefore, we supplemented the package with the optimal LCD monitor and peripherals devices.

That is, you do not have to look for and separately select the remaining elements, we have already selected and offer the highest quality products. In CompraiExpress you can order the assembly of an office PC, i.e. buy a complete office computer(with monitor, audio speakers, Wi-Fi adapter network, wireless keyboard and mouse).

Conventionally, computers can be divided into three categories: office, home and gaming. It is logical that their characteristics will be minimal for office, medium for home and high for gaming. Well, the price for all this, too, respectively, the more opportunities the higher.
Go to the store, choose the cheapest - here is the easiest office option for you. Kidding

So. Let's start with an office computer and figure out what an office computer should be like.

How to choose an office computer?

To begin with, let's define the meaning of "office", what do I mean by this? I see myself this computer, standing in any organization and office where accountants, managers and just employees work. They don't need high performance. In our time on the market, you will rarely find computers and components for them with requirements that way for the 2000s. Basically, they solve such tasks as: word processing, mail viewing, Internet access and other simple operations. Let's go directly to their choice.
System unit- Namely, what should be contained in it.
Approximately the characteristics of a modern office system unit should be as follows:
Processor Model: Celeron® G540 or Intel Atom
CPU frequency: 1800 MHz
Video card family: Intel HD Graphics
Video memory size: Allocated from RAM
RAM : 2048 MB
Hard disk capacity: 160 GB
CD/DVD drive: It can be useful
Operating system: No OS
Briefly explain this choice. With such characteristics, the computer will "pull" all office applications, such as Microsoft Office, 1C, mail clients, browsers, etc. A video card is not needed here, there is no provision for working with graphics, but still 2 GB of RAM will be comfortable for work. 160 GB is enough. Well, the choice operating system I leave it up to you (but I would recommend windows XP or windows Corporate).
The price for such a miracle is now about 6-8 thousand rubles.

Monitor- now you will no longer find tube monitors, they all go to LCD, which is good. The only choice left is the diagonal. The minimum for today is 18.5 inches. Price from 3 thousand rubles.
Keyboard and mouse- ordinary office without additional buttons. Just do your job. The price for the keyboard and mouse will be on average 300 rubles

Total: having a budget of 10 thousand rubles, you may well purchase an office computer.

How to choose a home computer?

This question is more interesting. My home computer involves: working with documents, working with images, playing games, accessing the Internet, and something else ... For such a computer, something more is needed both in terms of characteristics and additional equipment. So, let's get started quickly.
System unit- the most important part of the question, here I will give the necessary average set, but you should always remember that you can upgrade it in the same way.
Approximate average characteristics of the system unit for home use:

Motherboard an inexpensive one is suitable, the main thing is that the socket on it should be exactly for the processor that you are going to install, the slots for RAM must be of the DDR3 standard, and the video card - either a separate (discrete), or the motherboard must support the extension of the video card - that is, an additional slot under the video card, in addition to the built-in video card.
The best in the opinion of most users are Asus motherboards. The company is very popular, its products are of high quality and cheap at the same time. For assembling a computer based on Intel processors, models such as:
ASUS P8H61 iH61 DDR3 ATX (about 2000 rubles)
ASUS P8P67 iP67 DDR3 ATX (about 6500 rubles)
ASUS P8P67-M PRO P67 DDR3 mATX (about 3500 rubles)
Their prices vary slightly, but their quality is undeniable by millions of users.

CPU. Here the matter is simpler, it remains only to choose Intel or AMD. Of course, it's a matter of taste, but Intel processors are more suitable for a home computer. They are great at multitasking. The prices for them are very different, but for a home computer such models (LGA1155 socket) are quite suitable, such as:
INTEL Pentium G850 2.9GHz VGA 5GTs 3MB 65W (about 2600 rubles)
INTEL i3-2100 3.1GHz VGA 5GTs 3MB 65W Box (about 3600 rubles)
INTEL Core i5-2320 BOX 3.0–3.3GHz 5GTs 6MB 95W (about 5800 rubles)
All of them are high-performance and allow you to work normally with heavy applications and play powerful games.

video card. There are several clear leaders here: Asus, HIS, PALIT. The best in this price segment are:
PCI-E HIS Radeon HD 6850 Fan 1GB GDDR5 DVI HDMI (approx. 5300 rubles)
PCI-E HIS Radeon HD6670 1GB GDDR5 DVI HDMI (approx. 2500 rubles)
PCI-E ASUS HD7750/1GD5 1G GDDR5 (128-bit) HDMI DVI DP (about 3000 rubles)
PCI-E PALIT GF GTX 550Ti 1GB GDDR5 DVI HDMI (about 3500 rubles)
The forums are filled with admiring feedback from users of these devices.

RAM need DDR3 standard. It is best to immediately take two 4GB sticks, such as
DDR3 4GB TRANSCEND PC3-12800 JetRam 1600MHz (about 1000 rubles)
or two, three or even four 2GB sticks:
DDR3 2GB OCZ PC3-10666 (OCZ3G1333LV2G) 9-9-9-20 Gold Series. (about 800 rubles)
All memory works stably and quickly. But do not forget that if you install 4GB-8GB of RAM, then the operating system must be 64-bit - 32-bit versions do not see more than 3GB.

HDD- choose the storage of all information to your taste. AT recent times Relevant disks with a capacity of 1000 GB or 1 TB, which are relatively inexpensive and allow you to save a lot of information. The best:
3.5" SATA 1.0TB SAMSUNG SpinPoint F3 (HD103SJ) 7200RPM 32MB
3.5" SATA 1.0TB SEAGATE Barracuda Green (ST1000DL002) 5900RPM 32MB
all the rest are no different.

optical drive It's up to you to decide whether you need it or not. You can choose any, but I would recommend Samsung or Pioneer. The price for them is about 1000 rubles.

Sound card- in principle, a fairly simple and reliable one is suitable, for example, ASUS Xonar DSX for 2000 rubles.

card reader- instead of FDD (floppy drive for reading floppy disks), you stick this thing right away and forget about the impossibility of working with memory cards. The price is about 1000 rubles.
Monitor- I recommend that way at least 20 inches. Of the firms, I would recommend BENQ. The issue price is about 4000 rubles.
Keyboard and mouse- here, as you yourself want, with or without additional keys, what design, what company, wireless ... in general, on average, you can spend 1,500 rubles that way. I have an A4Tech XL-750BH mouse and a simple Genius KB-M220 keyboard.
Web camera- any, even with a built-in microphone and backlight, even the simplest, the main resolution is not less than 1.3 MPx. For about 1500 rubles. This is if you take it with a microphone, backlight, monitor mount. There are options for 300 rubles, there are also for 8000. It's up to you, I took a Defender G-lens 2552 for 500 rubles or something, I already forgot how much it costs, but for sure more than 2 years and there are no complaints.
Headphones- it happens that they are needed. The main choice is whether you need a microphone with them and what kind of ear pads are there (so that they are not hard). The price is about 800 rubles.
speakers- it's normal for the house even when there are just 2 of them. I have a Genius SP-S350 for 500 rubles somewhere. It's up to you to decide for what purpose. Since I only listen to one and don't need to entertain guests, these are fine.

Total: a home computer will cost you at least 20 thousand rubles.

Here's where it's fun. There is expanse for choice, the main thing is not to make a mistake. My friend collected a couple of months ago for himself just super gaming computer for 43 thousand. But here you should know that he collected everything himself, or rather, he selected everything to the system unit knowingly and the rest of the periphery, too, only for his own needs.
Here I will give free rein to my imagination and assemble a gaming computer for myself...
System unit:
CPU: Intel Corei7-2600K (about 9000 rubles)
Cooler: ZalmanCPNS10XPerforma (about 1000 rubles)
Motherboard: GigabyteGA-Z68X-UD3-B3 (about 4500 rubles)
Memory: KingstonValueRAM 2x4 GB (about 1200 rubles)
video card: PalitGeForce GTX 570 Sonic Platinum (approximately 11,000 rubles)
solid state drive: Intel SSDSC2CW060A3K5 60 GB (approximately 3400 rubles)
HDD: WDCaviarGreen 2000 GB (approximately 2400 rubles)
Drive unit: DVD-RW ToshibaSamsungSH-222AB (about 600 rubles)
Frame: Cooler MasterHAF 932Advanced USB 3.0 (ATX) (about 6000 rubles)
Power Supply: ChieftecNitro85 + BPS-750C (about 3400 rubles)
Sound card: Creative X-Fi Titanium HD (about 5800 rubles)

Total 48300 rubles.
Oh, and I broke up. The configuration is certainly worthwhile, but some aspects can be argued. Yes, and cheaper you can collect.
Now I want to clarify my choice a little.
The older Intel processor bears the “K” index, which means an unlocked multiplier and, therefore, not just officially allowed overclocking, but also as light as possible. The quiet and very strong Zalman cooler, which received very good marks in the testing process, is responsible for cooling its four cores. The amount of RAM has been increased to 8 GB, however, there is no great need for this in practice, but, as they say, the pocket does not pull the stock.
The selected motherboard is based on the Intel Z68 chipset, which allows it to use cheap small SSDs to cache the main disk. In addition, of course, it has all the necessary attributes of the latest motherboard: a full range of connectors, including USB 3.0, is quite big number USB 2.0 ports, 2 PCIExpressx16 slots - if you decide to install a second video card.
Video card - Palit GeForceGTX 570 SonicPlatinum models, a slightly overclocked version of the almost top-end NVIDIA chip: only the GTX 580 is better than it. And for those who are fans of AMD products, there is the possibility of replacing the card with the RadeonHD 6970, which is very close in price and performance.
The Z68 chipset just makes us want to add an SSD to the system – to keep your wallet cool, I only added an inexpensive 60 GB drive. It is needed more in order to put an operating system on it and so that all processes are much faster than if it were on a regular hard drive.
Of the cases, I chose the heavy, large, very black and durable CoolerMaster HAF 932 Advanced, which in the latest version has got a couple of USB 3.0 connectors on the front case panel. It is accompanied by the ChieftecNitro 85+ power supply, which is a model with a significant set of cables, excellent efficiency and a quiet fan.
If you want to make this system cheaper, then you can significantly reduce its cost by replacing the power supply with the case with the InWinIW-MG134 and also removing the SSD and the Corei7-2600K processor - it can be replaced with a much cheaper, but also very fast and suitable for overclocking Corei5-2500K.
There is an option that you want more, then you should think about changing the video card to GeForce GTX 580, as well as installing SSDs with a capacity of 80-120 GB, abandoning SmartResponce technology and installing not only the operating system, but also the applications and programs you use entirely on SSD.
The Creative X-Fi Titanium HD sound card is suitable for listening to music and movies, as well as for playing games.

Monitor: either 24 inch for 5000 or 27 for 8000 . On it and play well and watch movies.

Keyboard- The leaders among gaming devices are SteelSeries and Razer. And the price of their keyboards starts from 2000 rubles. But I would take Tt eSPORTS by Thermaltake Gaming keyboard Challenger Ultimate for about the same amount. I even show you a picture. Beautiful and good reviews.

Mouse- the same leaders as the keyboards. Prices from 1200 rubles. But I have a mouse from A4Tech XL-750BH. I have been using a similar X710 for 6 years and recently bought this one (the cord is too thin for that one, but it still didn’t break) and it costs 500 rubles and suits everyone.
Web camera- here I don’t know if hemers need it, but it’s still useful. You can proceed from the principles of choice that I described above (about a home PC).
Headphones- I recommend SteelSeries right away. And I won't even write anymore. I'll just drop the picture. (2000 rubles)

speakers- well. Chic so chic. We stop at the 5in1 system (especially since the sound card will allow it). I advise you to take a closer look at the Microlab FC 730 for 5000 rubles)

Total all together to buy a gaming computer you need at least 50 thousand rubles.

That's all there is to it. Who has questions and wishes - write comments.
