The porch of a private house is made of brick. DIY house porch: step-by-step extension from a porch to a house

The most practical option for building a porch is to make steps out of brick with your own hands. To complete this task, you need to make the necessary calculations, purchase materials and understand the principle of masonry.

How to calculate the number of feet and materials

The peculiarity of any brick structures is that when performing calculations they are based on standard brick dimensions.

But in practice, these building stones have different dimensions. This small, at first glance, error can become quite significant as the rows of masonry increase. Therefore, when performing calculations, it is recommended to take into account the width of the seam, which averages 0.5-0.7 cm.

The number of steps in the entrance staircase depends on the following factors:

  • relief of the territory;
  • the desired height of the porch from the ground level;
  • the preferred angle of inclination of the flight of stairs.

Each stage consists of two main elements:

  • approaches (horizontal part of the structure);
  • risers (vertical).

The optimal indicators of these elements are as follows:

  • step height 15-21 cm;
  • step width 80-90 cm;
  • approach depth 27-32 cm;
  • the angle of inclination of the flight of stairs is 25-27°.

When performing calculations, it is important to take into account that the height of the porch to a new building should be several centimeters below the base of the doorway.

This is due to the fact that the new building will certainly shrink in the near future. After this, the level of the entrance door will correspond to the height of the upper step.

In order to make brick steps with your own hands, you will need the following materials and tools:

  • red solid brick;
  • cement;
  • sand;
  • water;
  • mesh for sifting sand;
  • plasticizer for cement-sand mortar (you can use inexpensive washing powder);
  • container for mixing the solution;
  • shovel;
  • Master OK;
  • plumb line;
  • construction bubble level;
  • gravel or crushed stone;
  • cord and pegs for marking.

Stages of building brick steps

Foundation. Ideally, when building the foundation for the house, a foundation was also provided for the porch. In this case, the foundations of both structures will be monolithic, which will ensure the maximum possible resistance of the entrance group to seasonal soil movements. This approach to building a house is especially important for areas with loose mobile soil and high level groundwater.

If the foundation for a brick porch needs to be added to an existing house, proceed as follows:

  1. They determine the configuration of the structure and its dimensions, and carry out markings.
  2. They dig a pit, the bottom of which should be at the level of the base of the foundation of the house.
  3. Level the bottom and walls of the pit, pour a layer of sand (5-7 cm) and a layer of crushed stone (10-15 cm).
  4. Compact the fill with a piece of timber or a vibrating plate.
  5. Weld two sheets of mesh made of reinforcement with a cell whose dimensions are no more than 15x15 cm.
  6. The lower mesh is laid on crushed stone, the upper one, using support bars, is installed at a height of 5-7 cm below the bottom of the porch.
  7. Fill the pit with concrete and level its top layer.

Laying brick steps. To make the task easier, mark the dimensions of the future porch with chalk on the wall of the house.

Roofing felt sheets are laid on the concrete base or waterproofing is performed in another way (using bitumen or special mastics).

Markings are made on the concrete base and the location of the first (lower) step is determined. After this, you should lay out the initial row 1 brick wide. As a binder, a cement-sand mortar is used, prepared in a ratio of 1:3, where 1 part cement and 3 parts sand.

This video shows the process of laying a brick porch:

Starting from the first row of bricks, continue laying, moving towards the house. The base, located under the upper platform of the porch, can be made of blocks. This will help save time and materials. In this case, only steps are laid directly from brick. During the execution of work, the conformity of the horizontal and vertical structure is regularly checked. A building level is used for this purpose.

If you have a private house, then it should have a beautiful porch. Don’t think that building it is a very difficult task. For this reason, many hire a team of construction workers to complete it. But why trust outside people when you can try to do it yourself. This option will reduce the financial costs of paying a team of professionals, and will also give you the opportunity to feel proud of the work done. This feeling will come back to you every time you walk through the porch you created with your own hands.

Almost anyone can do the work of building a porch with their own hands. All operations should be performed efficiently so that the result does not disappoint after a while. To do this, all materials and tools must be of high quality and the construction stages must be followed.

Based on the specificity of brick buildings, the dimensions of individual steps are forced to be derived from the dimensions of standard brick. This is an annoying feature of any brick construction and should not be forgotten when working with bricks with your own hands. The most accurate height will be obtained if you make a step from two rows of bricks. The first is laid out “on the bed”, and the second “on the spoon”. The resulting step height is 19.5 centimeters.

This value is obtained from the dimensions of a standard brick. Now you need to divide the height of the entire rise by this value. This calculation will give you the number of steps that the planned porch will have. You can play a little by thinning or thickening the inter-row seam.

The first stage of building a porch

You should start by laying the foundation, which will become the support of the porch. The depth should be equal to that of the house itself. In the place where it is planned to make a porch, its dimensions are indicated on the ground surface.

Using a shovel, a pit is dug. Its perimeter should coincide with the applied markings, and the depth should be the same as that of the foundation of the house.

A reinforcement grid is installed in the finished pit.

The pit is filled with concrete consisting of crushed stone, sand and M400 cement. It is necessary to allow the solution to set; this will take from 7 to 30 days. Only after this can you proceed to the next stage.

Forming a brick base

Waterproofing will extend the life of the porch without the need for repairs. It is important to protect the structure from the harmful effects of water. Roofing felt has proven itself well as a budget-friendly and at the same time effective material. A double layer will provide reliable protection from moisture.

In order for the porch to be durable, you should not skimp on bricks. High-quality material is laid on a solution consisting of one part cement and four parts sand. Sometimes it is more convenient to buy ready-made
a mixture that is guaranteed to create strong adhesion between the stones. The simplest design is for a porch with one side. The number of steps must be odd, and their exact number can be calculated based on the height of the base.

You should start from step 1. The dimensions of each of them are as follows: depth 30 centimeters and height 16. The only exception will be for the last one, the width of which is at least 1 meter. It will look like a platform, the upper level of which is located below the doorway. The installation process doesn't look complicated. Using a spatula, a thick layer of mortar is applied to the surface of the brick from the bottom and sides. Then it is pressed firmly in the designated place against the rest of the bricks. With hollow stones, much more mortar will be required. All steps should be laid out in this way.

After finishing the masonry work, the porch needs time to dry. In sunny weather this will happen in one day, and in damp weather it will take much longer.

Facing

In place of the vacant lot one can already see an almost finished porch, which was made with one’s own hands. The process will be completed by facing work. Porcelain tiles will help make the structure more beautiful. It is resistant to low temperatures and mechanical stress. To improve adhesion, the brick base is treated with a primer. It is better to fix the tiles with tile adhesive, sold in specialized stores.

Laying is carried out using a notched trowel, horizontality is controlled using a building level. If necessary, the desired geometry is created using a grinder or tile cutter. It is advisable to grout the seams a day after finishing the cladding.

Ready-made steps that can be purchased for this purpose will help simplify the process. They are much easier to install than laying tiles.

A brick staircase is a durable structure that will last for decades. Brick allows you to give the porch any shape that fits into the overall picture of the building. If you follow the recommendations of the masters, then the structure you created with your own hands on the approach to the house will delight you and your guests.

You have several options for building a porch: concrete, metal, wood, brick or stone. All of them have their advantages and disadvantages, as well as installation features. In this article we will talk about how to build a porch with your own hands, from brick and cinder blocks/gas blocks.

Such structures will have a high load-bearing capacity, which will allow you to further organize them to your liking - into an open, closed porch or vestibule. For clarity, the description of the construction of the porches will be accompanied by photographs of the masonry work.

How to make a porch out of brick

Here we will describe the process of building a brick porch with our own hands, using rubble masonry on the inside of the steps and sides. You can use scraps of gas silicate or expanded clay concrete blocks as rubble. The point of combining brick with rubble is to reduce the cost of the structure, so if you have the desire and opportunity, you can get by with just brick. A brick porch, a photo of which will accompany the description, is attached to the house on a high base.

What needs to be done before laying the first bricks

First of all, we need a detailed drawing of the porch along with its underground part - the foundation. Using the drawing, we calculate how much concrete will be needed to fill the foundation and the central part of the porch, as well as bricks for masonry. It is better to purchase the latter with the expectation of possible losses - pruning, fighting, etc.

Next, we need to prepare a shallow slab foundation for the masonry. It is done in the same way as for an ordinary concrete porch: in the form of a monolithic slab with reinforcement and buried in the ground by about 50 cm. You can start laying out the brick porch a week and a half after pouring the foundation.

How to build a porch out of brick: laying out the first step

Beginning of construction of steps and sides of the structure

First we lay the bricks in three bricks:

  • We raise the outer row to the height of the first step.
  • We lay out the inner bricks in one layer.
  • We lay the rubble row.
  • Another row of bricks

The height of the butt must be selected so that the last row rises to the level of the first step.

Note:for greater convenience, control markings are applied to the walls to which the building will adjoin. Where there are no walls, we organize the markings using a stretched cord. This will make it easier for you to navigate the height of the masonry. The previous photo shows the approximate location of such markings.

How to lay a brick porch: laying a row of rubble

Having retreated 30 cm from the edge of the first step, we begin to lay out the second, third, etc. Following the steps, we raise the rubble masonry. We draw the sides in the same way. The following photo clearly shows the internal organization of the future porch.

Note:The largest elements of rubble masonry should be located at the edges, the smallest trimmings should be placed in the center. They should be well coated with the solution and pressed as tightly as possible to one another.

Completion of masonry

We raise the masonry to the height we need, checking the markings. During the entire construction process, do not forget to check your work using a level, and it would be good to do this every two or three bricks. And by the way, look at how the bricks are arranged on the steps: the bottom row is across, and the top row is along. This installation scheme will provide the steps with a longer service life.

Stone porch of a country house: photo of installation of the upper steps

And one more important point. The next photo clearly shows that the front edge of the platform is not laid out in the same way as the steps were made before. If you look from the inside, you get one step with a side the size of half a brick. This was done with the expectation of further filling of the central part. We carry out internal concreting as if we were pouring a simple concrete base.

Inside the brick well we install reinforcement, 10-12 mm, with a cell of 15-20 cm. On it, in a layer of 20-30 cm, we fill it with a layer of crushed stone, broken bricks or any stone construction waste. Fill everything with a concrete-sand-crushed stone mixture so that it is equal to the upper brick side, which you see in the photo. Cover the surface of the concrete with cellophane and leave until it hardens, for one to one and a half weeks.

A little about finishing the finished building

If the porch was laid carefully and using new bricks, then you do not need to use any additional cladding. You can also use clinker bricks for the outer layers of the masonry. This is even preferable, since the clinker is much stronger, and the appearance of the porch will remain unchanged for a long time. The semicircular brick porch from the next photo was made in exactly this way.

DIY foam block porch

Gas silicate and expanded clay concrete blocks are larger in size than bricks, and, accordingly, masonry from them will be carried out much faster. In the method of installing a porch made of foam blocks described below, rubble masonry will be used, as in the case of brick. And also, here you can refuse the bottle.

Before you start

The preparatory stage here is basically similar to that described for brick. We make the foundation the same, and also apply auxiliary markings on the wall or stretch the cords. We prepare unnecessary block scraps that we will use as rubble. You can also put a brick fight here.

It also makes sense to prepare a dry mixture of sand, crushed stone and cement, so that at the time of pouring the base you only need to add water to the mixture. Dry materials are mixed in the following proportions: 340 kg of cement, a cube of sand and 0.85 cubic meters of crushed stone. This amount is calculated for pouring one cubic meter of concrete.

Let's start laying

We lay out the first row of expanded clay blocks in the letter “P”, with the halves of the blocks going to the top. Then the second row of sidewalls: we place the blocks at a distance from the top equal to the width of the future step. Behind the top we place more rows of blocks - steps will be built above them.

We build a porch from blocks, with our own hands

From one side to the other we lay out the next step, followed by another row of blocks. We build up the sidewalls again, stepping back the width of the step from the first blocks. And we report the third stage. Inside the porch we have a niche that needs to be filled either with rubble or with whole blocks. It is shown in red lines in the figure. Now all that's left to do is fill it with concrete. central part porch. Here we repeat all the steps described for the brick.

Block Porch Finishing

Unlike bricks, blocks do not have this appearance, which would allow them to be left as is, without finishing. Therefore, here you will have to think about what to cover the porch with and what to use as a floor covering. The closed porch of the brick house, the photo of which you see, is trimmed on the sides with artificial stone, and clinker is used for the platform and steps. Finishing the porch with stone is a win-win option; the result is always excellent.

Or here: a photo of a porch made of paving stones. A semicircular block porch will benefit from such finishing. Paving stones can be either inexpensive concrete or made of natural stone, for example, granite. The photo shows granite paving stones.

How to make a brick porch in a private house with your own hands, step-by-step instruction, technology, masonry, mortar.

The porch is considered one of the most necessary and, without a doubt, important addition to the house. The material for construction is most often the same as that used for the base. Stone and brick houses are equipped with a brick porch.

Wide selection of colors and sizes. It is not difficult to find an option that absolutely complements the basement of the house.

There is not much difference in the modification of the brick used for construction, but professionals will recommend you ceramic bricks. Possessing high strength, it will ensure ideal durability of the porch.

The porch begins with a project

Competent design development and a completed drawing will help to further increase the safety of the structure. Practitioners have developed rules, adhering to which you will get the best results:

The porch is made 1.5-1.8 times wider than the front door.

The porch should rise above the soil surface by at least 0.15-0.2 m, this will ensure that there is no precipitation on its site in bad weather.

The platform itself is made approximately 0.1 m thick. Use a high-quality concrete mixture to fill the crushed stone base. After completing the pouring, do not forget about a 0.15 m wide cement screed.

The correct slope of the steps also matters. It is most rational to make 2.8-3.2 degrees. In addition to the convenience of climbing onto the porch, such a slope will ensure that water rolls off and there are no puddles.

The best length of steps is from 12 to 15 cm.

Porch shape

Based on your fantasies and available finances, determine the shape of the porch. In addition to the usual rectangular shape, they make:

  • oval,
  • semi-oval,
  • semicircular.

The list of options is far from exhaustive. Make the entrance to your home exclusive.

Preparation of material

Having completed the development of the project, we select the necessary materials:

  • primer,
  • sand,
  • reinforcement bars,
  • crushed stone,
  • waterproofing,
  • cement M400,
  • grout paste.

The set of necessary tools is not too large:

  • two spatulas (serrated and smooth),
  • rubber hammer for tiles,
  • shovel,
  • Master OK,
  • level,
  • container for concrete.

Checking the quality of the brick for the porch is quite simple. Drop it flat on a stone surface; if it breaks, the quality is poor.

If it cracks or falls into pieces, we are looking for another seller.

Marking for the foundation

Having chosen the material, we make markings for the foundation. Without base equipment, shrinkage is inevitable, even if the loads are small.

As a result, the porch will lose its strength within 2 years. We also take into account that the structure squeezes out the soil, also ensuring subsidence of the foundation.

The scale of deformation is affected by both shape and weight. The larger the pressing area, the greater the shrinkage. Depending on the selected type and design of the porch, the appropriate marking technique is used.

Regardless of the final shape of the porch, we initially mark the foundation as for a rectangular structure.

From the facade with front door We set aside the width and length of the structure, and mark the resulting perimeter with stakes. We ensure the equality of the diagonals between the wall and the stake.

Excavation

Having completed checking the markings, you can begin excavation work. Remember, we make the depth of the porch foundation the same as the depth of the foundation of the house.

Violation of this condition will lead to the formation of cracks and destruction of the house and porch, due to the inevitable subsidence of both structures.

We dig from the pegs to the wall, taking into account what will then be laid paving slabs. We make the pit of the required configuration.

Having formed a pit, we lay the reinforcing mesh in it, so that the mesh ends up inside the base after pouring.

On the sides we stick reinforcing bars with a diameter of 1 cm, so that they rise 10 cm above the porch area.

Preparation of the solution

Then we prepare the solution in the ratio: 1 part cement, 2 parts sand and 4 parts crushed stone.

Fill the base of the foundation and leave it to harden. In the hot season, this will take one to two weeks, in the off-season up to a month.

Only after complete hardening do we continue the construction of the porch.

Construction of a porch

Before starting masonry, we make waterproofing using any material that does not allow water to pass through. For example, roofing felt. Only after this, we begin laying bricks.

Solution

We make the solution to a creamy state, without lumps, based on M 400 cement in a ratio of 1 to 3, with sand.

Masonry

The laying begins with a whole brick, the next row will begin with three quarters.

This will improve the bundle of products and increase the strength of the porch. When making masonry, we cover two sides and the bottom of the brick with mortar.

We press the bricks “side to side” tightly, ensuring that the mortar sets.

Maintain a 10 mm seam between rows. Having provided space for the installation of steps, we complete the laying by installing a straight platform on top.

We use a plumb line to control the correctness of the angles. After drying the solution a little, we do the jointing of the masonry.

DIY brick porch, calculations

Depending on the height of the building's base, we determine an odd number of steps. Having started to build the porch from the first step (16 cm above the ground and 30 cm inside the porch), we do the rest in the same way.

The upper platform has a depth of about 1.5 meters, for comfortable opening of the house door. We take into account that the level of this platform is located 55 mm below the door plinth.

Procedure

Before installing the steps, we make formwork for all steps according to the planned form. We also start with the first step, strengthen them all with reinforcement, and weld the joint points.

Having laid crushed stone and a mesh of reinforcement, add crushed stone to the level of the step platform, fill everything with the prepared solution. The subsequent steps are made in the same way.

To complete the masonry, we create a platform. We add and insulate soil to the base of the building.

We provide a slope of the site comparable to that made on the steps. After raising the platform, we strengthen the soil with reinforcement using 0.7 cm reinforcement. We place the supports at a distance of 14 cm.

Having completed the laying of the parapet, we leave the masonry to harden. This may take a week.

Subsequently, the porch can be tiled, railings and a canopy can be installed.

Documents for the porch

Many readers may have a question: when it is necessary to cover a house with bricks and add a porch, are any permits needed for this extension?

To find out exactly whether documents will be required to equip the porch, you need to find out how to classify such an extension.

Based design features and taking into account the purpose of the extension, those that make changes only to the approved design of the house are considered non-major.

In a private house, this includes a porch, as well as a ledge, a canopy, and a terrace.

At the same time, the construction of a porch should not require a separate area of the site; it cannot occupy an area of more than 12 square meters. m, it is necessary to exclude interaction with the supporting structures or communications of the building.

Registration of legal status for the porch in a private house

The porch does not require a building permit. The owner can give it legal status by visiting the local BTI.

Based on the presented “Certificate of Ownership”, “Technical Data Sheet” and the owner’s passport, an “Application for Amendments to the Technical Documentation for the House” is drawn up.

Based on the Application, an employee of the bureau goes to the location of the object to which the porch is attached, and after inspection draws up a “Certificate of Completion of the Reconstruction Stage.” The updated registration certificate is issued to the owners of the house.

How to design a porch extension in a high-rise building

Difficulty may arise if the house has several owners. Then the consent of all co-owners will be required in writing.

So, for example, when adding a porch to a multi-story building, approval will be required from all apartment owners without exception.

Having received the “Minutes of the General Meeting of Home Owners” with a positive decision, attaching the “Certificate of Ownership”, contact the Administration settlement, to obtain permission to equip the porch.

When considering the issue, the administration takes into account who the owner of the land on which the porch is planned to be installed.

Having received permission, to coordinate changes in the purpose of the facade and territory of a residential building, they visit the cadastral chamber.

The construction of such a porch will require an approved and agreed upon project ( Fire Department, sanitary and epidemiological station, architectural bureau).

Video - do-it-yourself brick porch

When building a small private house with their own hands, many do not pay special attention to arranging the porch. As a result, after a couple of years we get a skewed porch with many cracks. To prevent such an incident from happening to the owners of private houses, certain rules must be followed when constructing a porch:

  • Mandatory arrangement of a strong and reliable foundation laid to a certain depth.
  • The process of waterproofing the supporting structure under the porch cannot be ignored.

By adhering to these basic requirements, you can get a porch that will last not only for years, but also for decades. But as practice shows, these details are mostly ignored. And after completion of the work, after some time, the structure begins to shrink. As a result, cracks form. In bad weather, water gets into such cracks, which destroys the structure even more. In winter, the presence of moisture in cracks is fraught with disastrous consequences. The thing is that when water freezes, it expands and thus widens the cracks. Of course, under such conditions the structure will not last long.

We build a porch with our own hands

A porch for a private home can be built from various materials. This can be concrete, brick or blocks. These materials are the most reliable. But working with them requires a lot of labor. Let's get acquainted with these technologies in more detail, and give an example of how to properly build a porch from bricks or blocks with your own hands.

Porch foundation

Like any solid structure, the construction of a porch begins with arranging the foundation for the porch. It is best if the foundation for the porch is designed together with the foundation for the house. Then it will be a single design. The connection between the bases will ensure the reliability and durability of the porch. If you equip the base separately, then cracks may form at the points of their connection. In the case where the foundation for the porch is installed separately, it is necessary to strictly adhere to the technology to avoid the occurrence of various types of violations. You also can’t skimp on materials. The depth of the foundation also plays an important role. It depends on factors such as soil type and groundwater availability. Ideally, the depth should be the same as the depth of the supporting structure of the house. If there is no groundwater, then the depth can be no more than 80 cm. It is not worth tying the foundations together very tightly. At most, install several reinforcing bars into the wall at the base level. The diameter of the reinforcing bars must be at least 12 mm. A reinforcement mesh is laid at the bottom of the recess and everything is filled with concrete.

After the mortar has completely hardened, it is necessary to lay the brick. Carefully level the surface with cement-sand mortar.

Arrangement of waterproofing

The next step in arranging the foundation for the porch with your own hands is to ensure its reliable waterproofing. Although many assume that they can do without this, they thereby doom their structure to destruction. It is protection from water that will ensure the quality of work on the arrangement of the future porch. Doing waterproofing with your own hands will not be difficult, and the benefits from it are enormous. There are two types of moisture protection: vertical and horizontal. Roofing material is used for this. With horizontal insulation, roofing felt is laid on the brickwork in two layers. Vertical waterproofing is provided between the base and the porch. This is done so that moisture from the base is not transferred to the porch.

Forming the steps

Let's move on to arranging the steps with our own hands. A brick porch should consist of brick steps. They are laid directly on the waterproofing. A good facing brick is laid on the outside of the steps. The internal part is laid with rubble bricks. You can lay the steps only with rubble bricks, but in this case they should subsequently be lined. Brickwork has some advantages over pouring concrete steps. The disadvantage of concrete is that it can absorb moisture, and in the cold season this is fraught with destruction.

What dimensions should the steps for the porch of a house have? And how many of them should be equipped? There are building standards that say that the length of the steps should be 30 cm, in extreme cases it should correspond to the length of the brick. The optimal height corresponds to 15 cm or two rows of brickwork. The number of steps depends entirely on the height of the base of the house. A typical standard porch consists of three steps. But if the level of the base is made higher, then the number of steps increases accordingly.

Important! The seam between the rows of masonry should be one centimeter.

What kind of brick should you use?

To build a brick porch, you must use very high-quality material. At least its front part. Many, in order to save money, try to purchase used material. This option is certainly acceptable. But it should be understood that in this case the quality of the material will be reduced. After all, when dismantling old buildings, the bricks are not sorted. And among them there is a brand of material that is not suitable for building a porch. For such work, a red brick of a grade of at least 150 is suitable.

Arranging a concrete porch

Nowadays there is a large selection of artificial blocks on sale: aerated concrete, foam concrete or expanded clay. This material differs from brick in its larger size, so you can build a porch from blocks much faster. The installation method remains the same as in the case of rubble bricks.

Preparing for work

We carry out all the preparatory work following the example of constructing a brick porch. Laying the foundation, waterproofing and applying beacons is absolutely no different. But we stock up on fragments of blocks and broken bricks. We will use all this instead of rubble bricks.

Porch masonry made of blocks

We begin to lay out the blocks with our own hands in the shape of the letter P. In the places allocated for the steps, we lay out halves of the blocks in two rows. Let's start laying the second row. We perform the side sections first. We retreat from the edge of the first one to the width of the step. To arrange the steps, we lay a row and an additional row behind it. It serves as a support for the next step.

Important! To make the rows even, you must first place corner blocks and stretch the thread between them.

We lay out the third row using the same pattern. As a result, we got a porch with a void in the middle. We deal with it in two ways:

  • fill with rubble and fill with concrete;
  • lay it in blocks.

We finish arranging the porch with our own hands by pouring cement-sand mortar into its central part

Porch protection

A porch built from blocks, unlike a brick structure, must be lined. Since expanded clay is a fairly soft material. And since this is still a street structure, which is subject to various types of mechanical loads, it should be protected from destruction. At this stage, you have to think about the choice of material for cladding the steps.

The facing material for a street structure must have certain qualities:

  • it should not slide;
  • be resistant to moisture, alkali and acids;
  • tolerate temperature changes;
  • influence of bacteria and fungi;
  • easy to care for.

Which material is best? The best option is stone or tile different types. Any of the above materials has sufficiently high qualities for cladding a street structure.

It goes well with finishing materials for the facade of the house such as brick, stone, siding, wooden beams or logs.

The next factor protecting the integrity of the porch is reducing the impact natural conditions on him. For this purpose, they equip it, thus partially protecting it from adversity: ice formation, getting wet in the summer.

Under such a canopy it will be convenient to open the door in bad weather. And if you approach the arrangement of the canopy creatively, it can become a real work of art that will advantageously decorate the facade of the house.
